Public transport tickets/information
Information, timetables and tickets are
available from the Strathclyde Passenger Transport Travel Centre
in the UK Arrivals concourse. (information Tel: 0141 848 4330)
Bus: All public buses depart from the bus
stops located at the front of the terminal building.
There are
frequent services - every seven minutes at peak times - to Glasgow
city centre operated by Arriva's Glasgow Flyer (service 500). All
services drop off at various locations in the city centre close to
key public transport hubs, including Glasgow Central and Queen
Street railway stations and Buchanan bus station.
Single fare
to the city centre is £4.20 and £6.20 return. Approximate guide to
journey time from airport to city centre by bus is 15-25 minutes
depending on which stop is required. The

All bus stops at Glasgow Airport are on the terminal forecourt.
Bus Stop 1:
Service 500 - Glasgow Flyer service operating to and from Glasgow City
Centre (with frequent connecting services to Edinburgh as well
as Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Inverness, Oban and Cambeltown)
Glasgow Flyer operate buses on this route that are fully
accessible.
Bus Stop 6:
Service 300 Clydebank via Inchinnan, Erskine, Mountblow and Dalmuir
(60 minute frequency)
Bus Stop 7:
Service 66 Frequent, low floor Rail link buses to Paisley Gilmour Street
Station for trains to
Glasgow Central, Inverclyde and Ayr. Approximate journey time
from airport to Paisley Gilmour Street is five minutes.
New service - Arriva Scotland West service 600
Arrivas service 600 offers visitors to the airport an hourly bus
service from Glasgow Airport to East Kilbride via Paisley,
Silverburn Shopping Centre, Thornliebank, Clarkston and Busby
and reversed on its return.
Bus Stop 8:
Service
747 AirLink cityService Operates every 30 minutes to the
city centre via the west end, calling at Renfrew, Braehead
Shopping Centre, Partick, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Charing
Cross. Single journey tickets costy £4.00, return fare is £5.00.
Service 757 Glasgow City Centre calling at: SECC for
exhibitions, conferences and concerts, Pacific Quay for the
Science Centre, Glasgow Central station for rail connections to
the rest of Scotland and the UK, Queen Street station for rail
connections to other stations in Scotland.

Service
915 Dumbarton, Fort William, Kyle of Lochalsh and Portree
(Skye)
Train: Rail passengers use the frequent bus link to Paisley
Gilmour Street Railway Station (see Service 66 above) for direct services to
Glasgow Central station, Ayr and the Clyde coast. Glasgow's Queen
Street and Central stations offer a wide variety of rail services
to destinations throughout Scotland and England. For information

Taxis: Official Glasgow Airport taxis are available from the terminal forecourt where
sample fares are displayed. The cost from Glasgow Airport to the city centre is
approximately £20.00.
