Driving:
Access is via the M8 motorway at Junction 28. The
airport is 8 miles west of Glasgow City Centre. Journey time around 10-15
minutes. Allow longer at peak times.
Parking - on airport:
The airport
has three main car parks to the terminal building. The new 2000 space
multi-story car park is now open, offering short stay passengers quick and
easy access to the terminal via the direct bridge link and optional Fast
Track parking.

Public transport tickets/information
Information, timetables and tickets are
available from the Strathclyde Passenger Transport Travel Centre
in the UK Arrivals concourse. (information Tel: 0141 848 4330)
Bus:
All public buses depart from the bus
stops located at the front of the terminal building.
There are
frequent services - every seven minutes at peak times - to Glasgow
city centre operated by Arriva's Glasgow Flyer (service 500). All
services drop off at various locations in the city centre close to
key public transport hubs, including Glasgow Central and Queen
Street railway stations and Buchanan bus station.
Single fare
to the city centre is £3.95 and £5.95 return. Approximate guide to
journey time from airport to city centre by bus is 25 minutes. The

Bus Stop 1
500 – Glasgow Flyer service operating to and from Glasgow City
Centre (with frequent connecting services to Edinburgh as well
as Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Inverness, Oban and Cambeltown) –
Glasgow Flyer operate buses on this route that are fully
accessible.

Bus Stop 2
60 – Rail link buses to Paisley Gilmour Street – for trains to
Glasgow Central, Inverclyde and Ayr. Approximate journey time
from airport to Paisley Gilmour Street is five minutes.
6 – Bridge of Weir, Houston, Linwood and Braehead Shopping and
Leisure Centre.

Bus Stop 3
300 – Clydebank via Inchinnan, Erskine, Mountblow and Dalmuir
(60 minute frequency)
747 – Partick (30 minute frequency). The newly launched
First 747 Service offers a direct link to Braehead Shopping
Centre, Xscape and Partick Interchange.
902 – Greenock, Bishopton, Port Glasgow (60 minute frequency)
915 – Dumbarton, Fort William, Kyle of Lochalsh and Portree
(Skye)
Train:
Frequent bus link to Paisley
Gilmour Street Railway Station (2 miles) which offers services to
Glasgow Central station, Ayr and the Clyde coast. Glasgow's Queen
Street and Central stations offer a wide variety of rail services
to destinations throughout Scotland and England. For information
call 0345 484950.
A direct rail link to Glasgow city centre is currently being
planned. It should be operational by 2011.
Taxis: Taxis are available from the terminal forecourt where
sample fares are displayed. Glasgow Airport to the city centre is
approximately £16.50. All taxis are metered.
